Video message to 3rd Krainev Moscow International Piano Competition (ko)
The Moscow International Piano Competition named after Vladimir Krainev was established on the initiative of the people's artist of the USSR, president of the Moscow International House of Music Vladimir Spivakov. Krainev was a brilliant pianist and an outstanding teacher who raised a whole galaxy of the brightest stars of our time.
The first two competitions, held in 2015 and 2017, became a big artistic event in the music world, giving a real "start in life" to the winners of this prestigious show.
On the opening day of the Third Competition, two" Discovery Award" winners - Shio Okui (2015) and Choe Jang Hong (2017) performed on the stage of the Svetlanov Hall.
Korean virtuoso Choe Jang Hung began playing the piano at the age of 4. He currently studies at Kim Won Gyun University of Music in Pyongyang, DPRK. Among the achievements of the young artist are victories in the F. Chopin International Competition for Young Pianists (Poland, 2012, I prize), the National Youth Piano Arts Festival of the "Zhong Yin Cup" (China, 2013, I prize), the Vladimir Krainev Moscow Competition (the highest award Discovery, 2017).
