슬로벤스꼬외무상이 2일 자기 나라는 로씨야에 대한 제재실시를 반대하며 충돌을 격화시킬수 있는 그 어떤 무기나 무력도 우크라이나에 파견하지 않을것이라고 언명하였다.
그는 뛰르끼예에서 로씨야외무상과 만난 후 기자들에게 제재는 로씨야경제보다 유럽동맹에 더 해를 주고있다고 말하였다.
로씨야보다 슬로벤스꼬에 더 해를 주는 그 어떤 제재도 지지하지 않을것이라고 하면서 그는 정부가 약 4 000만€어치에 달하는 무기를 우크라이나에 제공하는것을 중지하였다고 밝혔다.
그는 슬로벤스꼬정부의 립장은 이전보다 더 명백해졌다고 하면서 정전과 평화회담이 이 위기의 유일한 해결책으로 된다고 주장하였다.

"Without communication there will never be a diplomatic solution to crises, and without a diplomatic solution no wars will end," Blanár said after the meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov which took place at the request of the Russian side.
The Minister informed Lavrov about the position of the Slovak Government that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict does not have a military solution.
"I also informed him of the Slovak Government's position based on respect for the fundamental principles of international law, such as the territorial integrity and sovereignty of member states, anchored in the UN Charter. I called for the peace negotiations to be resumed between the parties to the conflict, and an end to the fighting as soon as possible," said the head of Slovak diplomacy who also stressed to the Russian minister: "What happened in Ukraine should never have happened."
He also added that the Slovak Republic is against the creation of any iron curtain between Russia and the European Union.
"Solutions that will guarantee security and peace must be sought," Blanár added and, at the same time, informed Lavrov that Slovakia had clearly rejected French President Emmanuel Macron's proposal and would not send any Slovak soldiers to Ukrainian territory.

ReplyDeleteOn March 2, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Juraj Blanar on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Antalya, Türkiye.
The ministers exchanged opinions on the most urgent issues on the international agenda, including the situation around Ukraine. The Russian side confirmed its readiness to restore relations with Slovakia at the inter-parliamentary level, as well as in cultural, humanitarian and military-memorial spheres.
