December in Korea is a month of longing for the great leader Kim Jong Il.

In December the people more earnestly long for the great Kim Jong Il who passed away at work on the train on the ceaseless march of field guidance, exposing himself to snow and rain of the times. Though unwell in the last period of his life, he made greater efforts to visit more places, meet more people and do more work. In December Juche 99 or 2010 he visited Hamhung, Musan, Hoeryong, Chongjin, Pyongyang, Huichon and other places across the country. He continued his field guidance without rest till the mid-December next year.

In December Juche 100 or 2011, he visited light industrial factories in South Hamgyong Province along snowbound road and praised that they had made good products favoured by people with materials abundant in the locality.

At the Amusement Park in the Kaeson Youth Park in Pyongyang, he expressed pleasure, saying people would like it. Officials repeatedly and earnestly requested him to have a rest on windy and snowy winter days, but he said: I have still many places to go. The flames of victory will flare up across the country when I go.

His instructions still warm up the hearts of the people.

Kim Ok Bong, saleswoman of the Kwangbok Area Supermarket, who met the great Kim Jong Il on December 15, Juche 100 or 2011, says, "Kim Jong Il asked what people like most and said what people like is really good. He earnestly called for selling many goods produced by our workers."

December of this land was woven with his painstaking efforts.

Kim Jong Il is the peerless patriot who devoted the most sacred life to the happiness of the people and laid the eternal foundation for the prosperity of the country. December of Korea will tell forever what a man the Korean people had as their leader, what a man's love and trust they enjoyed and what a man's image they engraved in the history.
